The 2021 Family Conference was virtual! Using the MyCityMed virtual conference platform, we hosted a two day webinar-based conference with global availability and translation services. On July 16-17 2021, registrants attended the virtual conference center which included lounges for viewing live webinars, a dedicated international networking lounge, and an exhibit hall with booths that contained more information on a variety of different community interests.
PFIC Network conferences are an opportunity for PFIC families worldwide to come together at one event. They offer an incredible chance to learn more about the disease from experts in the field, meet other families who share the same struggles and hear of their triumphs, and maybe even make lifelong friends.
We are committed to making these opportunities available and accessible to our global community. We are proud to report that we sold 109 tickets to this years virtual conference! We had participants from 13 different countries and provided scholarship for attendance to 19 families.
